Light-Heigel & Associates, Inc. has grown from an individual practice, started in Palmyra, PA in 1959.  Members of the firm are registered in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey.

Today, the practice includes land surveyors, civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, geologists, sewage enforcement officers, zoning specialists, CAD drafters, environmental engineers, and support staff.

Growth for Light-Heigel & Associates, Inc. continues thoughout all regional offices in Berks, Chester, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montgomery, Northumberland, and Schuylkill Counties.  Our most recent office addition offers services in the Bucks County area.  All of our regional offices are staffed by residents of the areas in which they serve.  Our belief is simply that to serve an area, the staff must be part of the community.  We believe this is critical, whether doing work for municipalities, or for the private sector.  Regional office locations have access to the total resources of Light-Heigel & Associates, giving each regional office the same capabilities as any other - a significant factor as the profession requires considerably more capital than in the past.  Managers of each of these offices are responsible for the growth and services provided in their area.  In addition, staff functions are performed by a related unit, freeing our managers from details not related to the basic mission.
